Most of the more recent Technology Tip of the Week issues have been centered around Internet and E-mail communications. While talking with a colleague, it was questioned whether or not other District buildings have E-mail capability and if so how does one use our system to E-mail other teachers? This Technology Tip of the Week will address that issue.
Tip #23: E-mail - Keeping in Touch with District TeachersAll employees in the Arlington Central School District who have a network ID also have an E-mail account. All employees now have the new acsdny.org domain address and have a user name consisting of their first initial and their entire last name. Therefore, the table below illustrates a basic E-mail template for all building employees.

Warning: There are conflicts however, especially when common names pop up in a given building that may have similar IDs. For example: Karen Smith and Ken Smith. To resolve this problem, check with your building SYSOP for ideas or send an E-mail to the address at the bottom of this tip.
