About the Arlington Central School District

The Arlington Central School District is located in Dutchess County in New York State. In the Arlington Central School District, there are nine elementary schools. They are:

  • Arthur S. May Elementary School
  • Beekman Elementary School
  • Joseph D'Aquanni West Road Intermediate School
  • LaGrange Elementary School
  • Noxon Road Elementary School
  • Overlook Primary School
  • Titusville Intermediate School
  • Traver Road Primary School
  • Vail Farm Elementary School

We also have three middle schools, Arlington Middle School, LaGrange Middle School and Union Vale Middle School. And finally, there is the beautifully, renovated Arlington High School.

Arlington is a very well-known school district. It is known for its hard working teachers. People buy and build houses in the district to attend our schools. It is a suburban district, except for Arthur S. May Elementary which is located in the city of Poughkeepsie. The district has outstanding programs in all academic areas. In addition, we have excellent programs in music, art, drama and sports. Our orchestra has performed all over the world. The high school has an excellent brass ensemble. Our marching band has competed throughout the state.
