Information About Our School

Mr. Joseph C. D'Aquanni

Joseph D'Aquanni West Road Intermediate School is in Pleasant Valley, New York. Our school is named after its first principal Joseph D'Aquanni. Mr."D", as the students used to call him, was the principal from 1971 until his retirement in 1994. He was extremely active in the school community and over the years many families had the pleasure of knowing and working with Mr."D". In 1997, Mr. D'Aquanni was the first Arlington administrator to have a school named after him. He will always be remembered for his enthusiasm, committment and love for education.

Our school district is the Arlington Central School District. We are located in the beautiful Hudson Valley of New York State.

Our school's mascot is the red tailed hawk.
