2007 GOLF TOURNAMENT

I’d like to thank everyone that helped organize, sponsor, or participate in the 2007 Inaugural AHS Booster Club Golf Tournament.   As Bob Camastro continued to remind me, “the first year is always the toughest, but in the end we were going to be successful.”  We had 66 Golfers, 13 Business Sponsors, 6 Tee Sponsors, and rose close to $5000 in our first year.

Congratulations to all the award winners who were as follows:

Closest to the Pin #3 – Lenny Purcell ’13 “1

Closest to the Pin #7 – Armando Valente ‘27

Closest to the Pin #10 – Ron Paglia ‘9 “5

Closet to the Pin #12 – Richie P ‘12

Longest Drive #8 – Armando Valente

Low Gross Foursome – Granger, Steinberger, Reidy, and Carr

I’d like to thank all of our sponsors Gold’s Gym LaGrange, Reilly Homes, D’Arcangelo & Company, Mercedes-Benz of Danbury, Bill McCabe, Dutchess County Legislator, Anaconda Sports, Belway Electrical Contracting, Daily Planet, Darlind Construction, Red Wing Sand & Gravel, A.C.T. Energy Drink, Orthopedic Associates of Dutchess County,  H.O. PENN, Basso & Associates, AGS Benefits Group, LaGrange Dental, Marshall & Sterling, and Mahoney’s Irish Pub and Restaurant.  A special thanks to Chris Portera, Ocean Janitorial Supply, for donating back the 50/50 Prize to the Boosters Club.

The money raised will be used to fund Booster Club activities for the up coming school year.  Thanks again, and see you next year!
